How to download Pinterest videos and images
Last updated: June 24, 2026
GetPinVideo saves any public Pinterest video, image, GIF or story pin to your device in its original quality — free, with no watermark and nothing to install. Paste a pin link below to try it, then read the full walkthrough underneath.
Works with pinterest.com, pin.it and country links — videos, images, GIFs & stories.
3 steps to download any pin
- Copy the pin link. Open the pin in the Pinterest app or website. Tap the share icon and choose “Copy link”, or copy the URL from your browser’s address bar.
- Paste it into GetPinVideo. Return to this page and paste the link into the box, then press Download. The pin is read in about a second.
- Choose a quality and save. Pick the resolution or format you want. The file downloads straight from Pinterest to your device — no account, no app.
Where do downloads go?
It depends on your device. On iPhone files land in the Files app (images can be saved straight to Photos). On Android they go to your Downloads folder. On a PC or Mac they save to your browser’s download location. We’ve written a short guide for each:
- Download Pinterest videos on iPhone
- Download Pinterest videos on Android
- Download Pinterest videos on PC or Mac
Tips for the best results
- Use the highest quality shown. When a pin offers 1080p and 720p, pick 1080p for the sharpest file.
- The link must be a public pin. Private boards and secret pins can’t be downloaded.
- Short on links? The Pinterest “Share → Copy link” button gives a
pin.itlink — that works here too. - If a video opens instead of saving, long-press it and choose “Save”, or try a different quality.
Use the right tool for each format
Every format has a dedicated page with tailored tips: the video downloader, image downloader, GIF downloader, story / idea pin downloader, and Pinterest to MP4 converter.
Only download content you have the right to use. GetPinVideo is an independent tool and is not affiliated with Pinterest, Inc.
